Houston Rodeo Enforces Strict Dress Code Due To Bootylicious Attire , Social Media Has Thoughts

Apparently, there were too many cheeks on display at the Houston Rodeo, and now there is a strict dress code being enforced.

FOX26 shared details of the new guidelines that now require attendees to wear shirts and appropriate footwear at all times.

The new policy guidelines also state that clothing featuring obscene language or graphics, excessively torn items, visible undergarments, and rodeo drip that officials say shows “excessive portions” of skin is deemed unacceptable in the family environment.… Read more

Tina Turner sales name, image and likeness rights and majority of music catalog sold to Swedish company

The move echoes a similar one made by the estate of Quincy Jones. Turner, who died in 2023, won 12 Grammy Awards during her career and was the subject of the 2021 documentary ‘Tina’.

Tina Turner‘s music rights, which she sold to BMG in 2021 for $50 million, are on the move again.

Swedish company Pophouse Entertainment has acquired the rights to Turner’s name, image and likeness, as well as the majority of her catalog for an undisclosed amount.… Read more

 KMOJ-FM 89.9 LAUNCHES THE STATE’S FIRST URBAN HIP-HOP STATION

 The New Urban Hip-Hop sound heats up the Minneapolis-St. Paul airwaves today at Noon and in the process logging another first for The Center for Communication and Development/ KMOJ-FM and HD1.

CCD/KMOJ-FM 89.9 is on the air with KMOJ HD2, The Ice. The new HD Channel, found at KMOJ-FM 89.9 HD2, is Minnesota’s first Urban Hip-Hop format. The Ice will also present Public Affairs programming in keeping with its community radio FCC license.… Read more
