Community Activists Create ‘Black Book’ To Empower Black Residents Amid Immigration Crackdown

Richard Claytor and Ron Bell, two dedicated community leaders from Boston, Massachusetts, have developed a crucial resource to help Black residents and other communities of color navigate increasing immigration enforcement actions under the Trump administration and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

200 George Floyd Demonstrators Gather In Chicago To Protests Trump Administration’s Police Reform Rollbacks

Sunday marked the five-year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. In downtown Chicago, around 200 protesters commemorated the occasion by gathering in Federal Plaza to protest the Trump administration’s rollback of police reform initiatives. According to WEBZ Chicago, the protest was organized by the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression.

 KMOJ-FM 89.9 LAUNCHES THE STATE’S FIRST URBAN HIP-HOP STATION

 The New Urban Hip-Hop sound heats up the Minneapolis-St. Paul airwaves today at Noon and in the process logging another first for The Center for Communication and Development/ KMOJ-FM and HD1.

CCD/KMOJ-FM 89.9 is on the air with KMOJ HD2, The Ice. The new HD Channel, found at KMOJ-FM 89.9 HD2, is Minnesota’s first Urban Hip-Hop format. The Ice will also present Public Affairs programming in keeping with its community radio FCC license.… Read more
