Judge Ends James Comey And Letitia James Federal Cases

Efforts by President Donald Trump to use the judicial system against his perceived enemies took a serious hit, as a federal judge dismissed separate cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James. United States District Court Judge Cameron McGowan Currie made the ruling on Monday (Nov. 24), citing that Lindsey Halligan, the interim prosecutor in the Eastern District of Virginia, was “unlawfully appointed.”

In her ruling, Judge Currie wrote that it was improper for the Trump administration to appoint two interim prosecutors in a row, relying ironically on a previous decision by District Court Judge Aileen Cannon to dismiss an indictment against Trump due to the appointment of Jack Smith as a special counsel.… Read more

Legendary funk-rock drummer, guitarist, and producer Jellybean Johnson has died at 69. Known widely for his role in The Time, and as a key architect of the sound that came to be known as the “Minneapolis Sound,” Johnson passed away Friday evening, November 21, 2025 — just days after celebrating his birthday.

Born Garry George Johnson in Chicago (1956), he moved to north Minneapolis as a teen and taught himself drums and guitar. Rapper Mystikal has been ordered to stay in jail for a bit longer, according to KLYFY.

A Louisiana judge of Ascension denied the New Orleans artist’s request for bond. Mystikal pleaded not guilty to charges from an incident in 2022. The charges he was facing consisted of first-degree rape, domestic abuse battery, strangulation, and false imprisonment.
