Amazon Reaches $2.5B Settlement In Prime FTC Lawsuit

Amazon has agreed to a record-breaking $2.5 billion settlement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over allegations that it tricked millions of consumers into signing up for its Prime subscription service and made it nearly impossible to cancel.

The settlement announced on Thursday came days into a jury trial that began in Seattle this week over the issue, which stemmed from a lawsuit filed by the Federal Trade Commission in 2023.

According to the FTC lawsuit filed the in June 2023, the retail giant was accused of deceptive practices that enrolled customers in Prime without consent and deliberately complicated the cancellation process.… Read more

Scottie Pippen Confirms Detached Michael Jordan Relationship

The ties between former NBA champion Scottie Pippen and his legendary teammate Michael Jordan have been the subject of heavy conversation, and Pippen finally revealed that the two aren’t “tight” in a recent conversation.  KMOJ-FM 89.9 LAUNCHES THE STATE’S FIRST URBAN HIP-HOP STATION

 The New Urban Hip-Hop sound heats up the Minneapolis-St. Paul airwaves today at Noon and in the process logging another first for The Center for Communication and Development/ KMOJ-FM and HD1.

CCD/KMOJ-FM 89.9 is on the air with KMOJ HD2, The Ice. The new HD Channel, found at KMOJ-FM 89.9 HD2, is Minnesota’s first Urban Hip-Hop format. The Ice will also present Public Affairs programming in keeping with its community radio FCC license.… Read more
