New Study Finds Black Households Bear Higher Home Energy Costs Nationwide

Running a household — from heating and cooling to keeping the lights on — is an expensive necessity and according to recent research, those costs don’t impact all Americans equally.

A groundbreaking national analysis led by George Homsy, Associate Professor at Binghamton University, sheds light on a long-overlooked inequity: Black Americans are spending a significantly greater share of their income on energy costs than their white counterparts. Judge Approves Return Of Young Thug’s Seized Property After YSL Trial

A judge has ruled that rapper Young Thug can get back the property that was taken from him during the YSL trial.

On Monday, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker approved a request from his lawyers to return the items. These included $149,426 in cash, a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2022 Porsche 911, and a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador. Due to creative differences between the network, director Spike Lee, and the former NFL player, ESPN will no longer air the docuseries.

“ESPN, Colin Kaepernick and Spike Lee have collectively decided to no longer proceed with this project as a result of certain creative differences,” ESPN said in a statement to Variety. “Despite not reaching finality, we appreciate all the hard work and collaboration that went into this film.”
