Spirit Airlines Officially Shuts Down

No more affordable flights to Tulum, Miami, or any other locations are taking off after Spirit Airlines officially announced that it will be shutting down.

Early Saturday, the budget airline announced an “orderly wind-down”, adding in a statement, “To our Guests: all flights have been canceled, and customer service is no longer available.”

Israel Makoka and Max Makoka spent nine days in separate detention centers after being arrested while waiting for their school bus.

A pair of teenage brothers from the Republic of the Congo living in Mississippi have been released from ICE custody after their arrest startled a community.

Israel Makoka, 18, and Max Makoka,15, were held in ICE custody for nine days, one brother sent to Louisiana while the other was taken to Texas.
