KMOJ – The People’s Station | Community Spotlight
Today, we honor Ms. Viola Fletcher, one of the last known survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre — a walking testament to our history, our resilience, and our unshakable strength as a people.
At 110 years old, Ms. Fletcher stands as a reminder of the injustice our ancestors faced and the courage they carried through it all. Her story isn’t just history — it’s a call for truth, healing, and accountability.
KMOJ lifts her name because when we honor our elders, we honor the legacy they fought to preserve.
Let’s continue to protect our history, amplify our voices, and push forward for the justice that generations before us were denied.
With respect, love, and solidarity —
KMOJ, The People’s Station
