The retail giant Target announced internally that they would be cutting 1,800 corporate jobs throughout the company, in response to combatting slumping sales due to a boycott of Target by the public over its rollback on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The round of layoffs is the first for the company in a decade.

Amazon To Cut 14K Jobs For AI: Here’s How To Adapt Before You’re Next

SE-commerce giant Amazon is set to reduce its corporate workforce, cutting 14,000 roles, in the coming months, according to a letter published by the company’s SVP, Beth Galetti, on Oct. 28.  

Amazon wants to speed up company productivity and double down on AI, Beth Galetti said.

Chris Brown is denying reports regarding neglecting his housekeeper when she was attacked by one of his dogs.

Back in 2020, Maria Avila was Breezy’s housekeeper and claims that she was taking the trash out when one of the singer’s dogs attacked her. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Services has warned that there may be insufficient funds to pay November benefits through the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which provides food assistance to roughly 42 million Americans nationwide.

On Friday, Oct. 24, New York Attorney General Letitia James pleaded “not guilty” to federal charges of mortgage fraud during her first court appearance in Virginia.

AP reports that the Department of Justice accused Letitia James of bank fraud and making false statements in filings related to a 2020 home purchase in Norfolk, Virginia.
