This New Year’s Eve, Megan Thee Stallion rang in the new year not onstage, but in an apron, officially opening her first Popeyes franchise in Miami’s South Beach. The move turned her viral fast-food collab era into something much larger.

“I’m so excited, so proud, and I just feel so much gratitude! Hottiessss I’m officially a franchise owner. Come to South Beach Miami and dine with us,” she wrote in a caption online.

The Grammy-winning rapper first linked with the chain in 2021 through her Hottie Sauce, a limited-time drop that morphed into a cultural moment and ultimately pushed her into being a franchisee.

Now? That partnership lives at 1427 Washington Avenue, where the new Popeyes is serving the brand’s classic crispy chicken, sides, and a dose of thee Hot Girl herself.

Megan’s made it clear that she was all in from the start. She hit the New Year’s Eve opening ready to work, greeting staff, learning everyone’s name, despite being told she didn’t have to.

“Oh yes, I do,” she said in a snippet shared online.

The “Lover Girl” rapper also stepped from behind the counter to serve customers while fans crowded the sidewalk with phones out.For young fans watching her timeline, the South Beach spot is like a viral blueprint: turn a “moment” into a business move, then into a long-term franchise. Over the years, Megan has talked about her goals beyond music, from foundations and community outreach to entrepreneurship, and this latest venture underscores just that.

The hot spot is now open to the public, with Megan inviting locals and tourists alike to “come dine with us” and experience what she promises will be a fun workplace and a lively spot to grab chicken, biscuits, and a little bit of Hot Girl energy.
