The actor and comedian prefers a more comfortable option at his age, which is why he swears by slacks.
Kevin Hart revealed he traded in his jeans for “all pants, all slacks” after turning 40 years old.
During his interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 45-year-old Hart said pants are simply more comfortable than jeans, especially for someone his age. “I’m over 40. I feel like a good pant is necessary,” he said at the 2:41 mark in the video up top. “Jeans are not the same. Jeans hurt, and are not comfortable.”
Hart confessed that wearing jeans not only hurt his knees, but it feels uncomfortable around the waistband. “When you sit down, I don’t like how jeans dig in my waist. I don’t like that,” he said. “All slacks! Soft waistbands.”
When Jennifer Hudson asked for an age when pants should become the new norm, the actor and comedian spoke from experience, saying everything changed for him when he turned 40.
Hart joked he plans on transitioning over to only sweatpants at 50.
Hart, who is currently on the Acting My Age Tour, has been making headlines lately as well. Recently, he was the butt of a joke by Jennifer Hudson about his short stature in a selfie with her. Speaking recently with the hosts of The Breakfast Club about the power of streamers and content creators, Hart explained that he loves what MrBeast is doing with his game show, Beast Games.
