Award-Winning Director Rob Reiner Dead at 78

On Sunday (December 14), famed director and actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Brentwood home. Reiner was 78 years old and Singer Reiner was 68. According to initial reporting from PEOPLE Magazine, the couple was found side by side with knife wounds by their daughter, Romy along with the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A Black man in Ohio who spent over 25 years on death row had his case dismissed on Friday.

According to CBS News, Elwood Jones was convicted of aggravated murder, robbery, and burglary in 1994 over the death of 67-year-old Rhoda Nathan. At the time, police said Nathan was visiting Cincinnati for the bar mitzvah of her best friend’s grandson. South Carolina health officials are responding to a growing measles outbreak centered in the Upstate region, with 114 cases reported as of Dec. 10, 2025, according to the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH). The first case in the current outbreak was recorded on July 9, and 111 cases are linked to Spartanburg County.
