NFL Player On The Run After Warrant Issued For Domestic Abuse Charges

Florida authorities are searching for an NFL player who has been missing since a warrant was issued for his arrest for domestic violence.

According to WFLA, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Detroit Lions Cornerback, Cameron Sutton and hasn’t been able to locate him for the past couple of weeks.

Uber leaving Minneapolis: Lyft driver says current pay is great

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – A Lyft driver is questioning why other ride-hailing drivers claim they can’t make $15 an hour after Minneapolis passed an ordinance to give drivers a pay raise.

Travis Joseph, who has been driving for Lyft for five years, with well over 10,000 rides, says he makes great money.

The NAACP Image Awards wrapped this weekend with Usher being honored with the President’s Award for Entertainer of the Year. Oprah Winfrey made a surprise appearance to present the honor.

The singer paid tribute to the women in his life.

“They say behind or beside or with every strong man is a stronger woman, and for that I thank my mother and I thank my beautiful wife, Jennifer, for holding me down,” he said, before giving a nod to his kids and his late grandmother, Ernestine Carter.

The lawyer for R. Kelly pleaded for the overturning of his sexual abuse conviction, claiming that prosecutors misused racketeering laws.

Depression, Suicide, Sickness: How Black Women In Higher Education Can Suffer

These are the themes that emerged when I invited nine Black women to chronicle their professional experiences and relationships with colleagues as they earned their Ph.D.’s at a public university in the Midwest. I featured their writings in to get my Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction.
