Dennis Rodman says he received permission to go to Russia to advocate for Brittney Griner’s release from jail

NBA legend Dennis Rodman said Saturday he “got permission” to go to Russia to seek the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner, who was sentenced to nine years in prison on drug charges.

The Basketball Hall of Famer, who was at a sneaker convention in Washington over the weekend, told NBC News he was looking to head over to Moscow at some point this week.

Family of Philando Castile keeps his memory alive with fundraiser

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (FOX 9) – Philando Castile was shot and killed by then St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez, during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights in 2016. On Sunday, Castile’s loved ones continued to work to keep his memory alive through the Philando Castile Memorial Scholarship Fund.

 The New Urban Hip-Hop sound heats up the Minneapolis-St. Paul airwaves today at Noon and in the process logging another first for The Center for Communication and Development/ KMOJ-FM and HD1.

CCD/KMOJ-FM 89.9 is on the air with KMOJ HD2, The Ice. The new HD Channel, found at KMOJ-FM 89.9 HD2, is Minnesota’s first Urban Hip-Hop format. The Ice will also present Public Affairs programming in keeping with its community radio FCC license.… Read more
