NASA: FIRST VIDEO OF THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

A camera called “MoonKAM” has captured a high quality video of the dark side of the moon. If you are wondering why this is a big deal, well the moon is tidally locked with earth, which means at all times, the moon is only presenting one of its sides to the earth. Only robotic spacecraft and Apollo astraounauts who orbited the moon in the 60’s and 70’s have seen the far side of the moon. To view the video of the far side of the moon Click Here
